We've made a page for some of the letters Karl has received.  We are interested in  yours!
Also put here letters written on Karl's Behalf.

Dear Fellow Citizen,

My name is Peter Jansen.   I am an international business consultant and I would like you to be aware of a race for the State House this year which will have great effect upon you.

There are a few seats- a few house votes- which are right on the edge and could go either way this year.  One of them, the 39th, is held by a far-left Democrat.  I believe we are taxed more than enough, and controlled more than enough, by our government.

Opposing this person is Karl Sipfle, a conservative achiever.  Karl is Product Manager at a defense company, and is personally responsible for the manufacturing validation of our next-generation tank weaponry, the tip of the sword of Western ground power.

Karl has excelled in everything to which he has applied himself, from an Honors Program education in economics, science and engineering at the University of Michigan, to troubleshooting many difficult business and technical problems all over the world.  One year you will find Karl working on Wall Street, another, in a Soviet-era factory outside Prague.

Karl is NOT a career politician, which is one thing I like about him.  He holds the common sense understanding that money doesn’t grow on trees, and it is not the government’s money in the first place.  His strong reputation for integrity is a great and badly needed contribution.

Politicians talk endlessly about Jobs, and bringing them to Michigan.  I have actually done this, repeatedly.  I have to tell you that, campaign rhetoric aside, this is very difficult to do.  Oftentimes I am forced to place foreign company jobs into other states, because the business climate in Michigan is- literally- internationally famous as poor.

There is no realistic chance of this changing under present State House thinking- where lavish benefits and pay raises are the order of the day at the same time the citizenry is buckling from the financial crisis we are in.

It is necessary to put Karl in office to fight this dangerous nonsense.  His intelligence and drive are among the best tools we have to help turn this state around.  We have seen what the recent Change has done to us, and it is time for another change before we are all bankrupt.

The state is facing a 1.7 billion dollar deficit and compensating its own people beyond our means.  I appeal to you to give Karl all the help you possibly can, beginning with a generous donation to the Committee to Elect Karl Sipfle, 6125 Strawberry Circle, Commerce Township, MI  48382.  His district represents Commerce, West Bloomfield, and Wolverine Lake.  However, his vote affects us all!

Sincerely,

Peter Jansen, President, Jansar Inc.

Dear Mr. Sipfle,

It was my pleasure to meet you briefly after the Lakes Area Tea Party's first meeting!  HOW EXCITING - a NEW TEA PARTY!  I had also heard you speak a while back - (I'm sorry... I attend so many functions that I seldom remember who was where!) and I was very impressed.  It seems you would be most qualified to solve many of Michigan's problems!   As the organizer of the Let Freedom Reign group, serving the White Lake / Waterford area, I am closely watching neighboring elections.  I am in Eileen Kowall's district, but I know the importance of supporting other local candidates!!  I just sent a donation to your campaign, as I also know that money is a necessary evil in order for you to win!   I certainly am not a prominent figure in Oakland County, but I have become somewhat known over the past year as a very relentless activist!  Although our group has agreed not to endorse candidates, if it would be of any help to you, I would be pleased to offer my personal endorsement.    I have reviewed all four Republican candidates and, in my opinion, YOU are the right one for this position!!   Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to you.   Yours, Peggy Miller

Karl,

I am retired from Ford Motor Company.  I spent nearly 34 years in product development and testing at the Michigan Proving Ground in Romeo.  I was responsible for a testing facility dedicated to measuring vehicle noise emissions in several locations around the country.  I was a member of an SAE committee for 10 years where we wrote and reviewed SAE procedures as well as ISO procedures.

I spent 4 years in the Navy from 1968 - 1972.  I was born on the east side of Detroit.  My father was an executive with Ford International Division and we moved around a great deal.  I lived in New York for 2 years, Germany for 7 years, New Jersey for 3 years before we ended up back in Michigan for my senior year in high school.

A fellow proving ground retiree has formed a small business installing landscape lighting and I have an interest in that business and work with him.  I have two articles which will be published in the June issue of the Landsculpter Magazine put out by the Michigan Green Industry Association (MGIA).

I feel very frustrated with the direction our state and country is moving and I can't sit by and just complain.

I read your response to my inquiries and I am not disappointed.  I will write an endorsement for your candidacy.
