Common Sense?
Yes, that is half- the bigger half- of the answer to our woes of crushing taxes and resultant unemployment. But for that to be more than the latest slogan, "common sense" must be wed with real business sense, a respect for teamwork, and a proven appreciation of how crucial a vibrant private sector is to our personal happiness and success. We truly cannot afford bloated government and the redistribution of wealth away from the working man into the botttomless pit in Lansing. The understandable human tendency to protect that turf today only makes everyone's situation worse in short order. Michigan has become the international poster child for bad management, and 50th by nearly every economic measure of success.
